In our view, all work places are emotional systems.  Anxiety in a system can lead to low productivity, blaming others for costly mistakes, absenteeism, high turn-over rates, weak leadership, and a wide variety of other interpersonal problems.  Sometimes these problems are associated with change or other stressors in the organization.  Sometimes the dysfunction has been in place for many years and has had severe emotional and financial consequences for the organization.
